New members of CESAR
Richard Barth is new guest professor at CESAR. Professor Barth will bring decades of lessons learned from deep involvement and leadership in the Social Work and Social Welfare PhD programs at UC Berkeley, University of North Carolina, and the University of Maryland. His work with surveys, administrative data, and intervention services research will offer perspective and skills to Uppsala University PhD students. He has also served as an Associate Editor for many journals and can help steer the course from papers written for PhD Program requirements into publications (indeed, he may also help to suggest ways that the requirements be amended so that the path to publication is shortened). His leadership of the Grand Challenges for Social Work has further extended his large academic network that spans the USA, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand to assist students in learn from work that is currently underway, as well as work that has been published.
